"This machine already knows how to do astro photos!"
The Processor: KME 42 (42" Kreonite Roller Transport)
My new print processor has quite a history. Originally purchased by NASA for the Goddard Space Flight facility in 1982, it was retired in 1997. Kull & Company purchased it for a "rebuild" and I bought it in June of 1998. I know this is true because it came with all the original books, documentation and service records. The internal counter logged 125,479 "pieces" of paper when I took possession.
As you may (or may not) know, when the Hubble Space Telescope was launched, the Goddard facility was in charge of imaging for that space vehicle and many others before. My processor did the lion's share of print production for NASA over the last 15 years. And NOW she processes astro photos for ME (and YOU!).
